Ushara is a sonic performance artist and soprano working across expanded opera, composition, pipe organ and experimental theatre. 
She holds an MA from the Royal College of Art.

The Light The Day Gave

Cyanotype | Sonic | Performance

The given light is brief and emphatic. That is a given.
Thirty minutes of light, resting on the chapel's dome, will engrave the cyanotype canvas.
Meantime, we will cast the first and last shadows, keeping what remains from the petrified sun.

Interactions and moments of passing, caught in tape, framed in audible time. Loops are fed and grown, building throughout the day.
