Ushara Dilrukshan

Ushara is a sonic performance artist and soprano working across expanded opera, composition, pipe organ and experimental theatre. 
She holds an MA from the Royal College of Art.

The soundscape was composed to induce a state of transcendental meditation, from which they would draw their movements from representing the theme of femininity and the process of being born. Act I and Act II consisted of the sound being based on the bio-sonification of mushroom drones.
